Merry Christmas 201112/26/2011 To the Members of the Wynantskill Fire Department
On behalf of the Chiefs, we wish each and every member a Safe and Happy Holiday to you and you’re loved ones. We want to take time to thank those family members for the hours that you spend at alarms, and drills and special projects.
We look forward to working with all of our new probationary members at drills and calls and hope to keep your enthusiasm level high as you strive to become firefighters.
Thank you to all the Engineers, Station assistants and especially our Officers and members that assisted in special drills above and beyond the regular to maintain our apparatus and improve the skills of the members of the Wynantskill Fire Department.
As we prepare to conclude 2011 we will be projected to hit 640 alarms for the year, approximately 10% up from 2010. The Chiefs proudly thank our members for responding to all those calls for assistance!
We want to thank our brothers from Defreestville for their assistance during the year as well and the support we receive from our neighboring departments throughout the year.
Lastly thanks to the Commissioners for their support throughout the year and thank you to North Greenbush Police, North Greenbush Ambulance and the Rensselaer County Bureau of Public Safety for your continued assistance and support.
To all have a SAFE and HAPPY 2012.
